Sorry I have not been around in a while. This pregnancy & having a 2 1/2 year old is kicking the life outta me! But, hey, someone’s gotta do it! I will try my best to keep up, but this last trimester is gonna be a doosy with the heat, which doesn’t help the mood or the energy level….
Anyhow, my favorite yoga studio put in a request for some feather earrings. Here is what I came up with.
Some are peacock in fun colors & others are pheasant feathers, some dyed, some natural. Had to get some bright, hot mama colors for summer!

Sometimes it is so hard to find gifts for friends. Since I make jewelry, that is what I tend to give, but I always have to think….”Do they wear earrings? What if they have allergies? Do they like their necklaces long or short, gold or silver?” So what I have come up with is that most women love bracelets! If they have a young child, it is less likely to get grabbed or snagged. Here’s a couple I’ve come up with…
These are great for gifts this time of year with the wonderful spring/summer colors. They can also be customized to other color combos or just plain so that it can be worn with everything!

So, most of my things seems to be done in gold, but I do like silver…..it’s just that gold makes things looks so much more rich. Here’s a few things I’ve done for the silver lovers!

I don’t mean that in a bad/downer way! It’s just that I LOVE turquoise! It looks good on all skin tones and just pops when put with gold. After making all of these wonderful necklaces I realized, Whoa! That’s a lot of blue! What can I say…..it calls to me!

So sorry that I have been absent for a while. With a 2 1/2 year old & being almost 5 months pregnant, I don’t know how I remember to brush my teeth in the morning! To catch up a bit…..here is what I came up with from using my son’s wooden blocks to make some new shapes in my Hammered Earring line.

So here are the new rings I’ve been talking about. Finally got a good picture of them. This is what I have so far, but there is room for more designs if you have any ideas. They are delicate, feminine and have great sparkle. They are even stackable! Made from 14 kt white & yellow gold with white diamonds. Who could ask for anything more!
These make great Mother’s Day gifts, “Push” gifts, “Just Because It’s Pretty” gifts, any occasion really! So, let the hubby know…..sometimes they need gift ideas! ; )
My favorite is the Lightning Bolt! It is so cute on!

Spring is here……I think!? Well, at least the rain stopped, for a while, and it will get into the 80′s by the end of the week. When I think of Spring…. beautiful, bold colors come to mind! I think I’ll call these Pop”Singles!” Maybe that means I’m ready for Summer already! =)

So, I had this show the other weekend and people seemed to dig my hammered, “Toblerone” earrings…..
Maybe I should start from where this whole idea came from. I ask my dear friend, Heather, what she is looking for in jewelry these days (she is my test model)…….she told me, “triangles!” Don’t know if this is just something she wanted, saw or dreamt about, but I found it interesting. So, how was I going to find a way to make earrings into a triangle shape, with even sides? Tolberone, of course! It was the perfect stencil for my hammered earring line! They are great candy bars as well. =) After the great response from the show, I decided I needed to branch out into different shapes, but where was I going to find stencils for those ideas…………..my dream, no doubt! Dreams are where my design ideas blossom, for some reason. You know those wooden boxes that you had as a child with the holes in it for you to put the different shaped blocks……..LIGHTBULB!
These are my new stencils! My son, Diesel, graciously let me borrow them, for the time being. Let’s see what I can come up with!

So amongst having a job at a major animation studio, publishing his own graphic novel and being an awesome guy….my artistic husband is graciously making my new blog/website! Looking good so far, I think. I mean all I gotta do is write stuff & upload pictures, he does all the dirty work. ;) And, if I’m gonna do this, I better do it now….got a 2 1/2 year old and another on the way this October. This needs to be up and running itself soon!
